Can I price my own house plans?
Yes. Pro users can upload drawings for an AI take-off, which reads the plan into a measured bill. Anyone can import an existing BOQ from Excel (.xlsx) or CSV. You can also start from the closest catalogue design and change it.
- AI take-off (Pro): upload your plan and the quantities are read from it into a bill you can check and edit.
- Import a bill: upload an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV BOQ. JengaCost detects the columns, then you can re-price it at your county's rates, phase it and send it for quotes.
- Start close and adjust: pick the nearest of the 37 designs and change the finish, roof form or plot works in the cost explorer.
